The YSU College Credit Plus (CCP) program is a dual enrollment program serving 7th through 12th grade students, teachers and schools by increasing access to college learning, supporting excellence in teaching, and strengthening high school-university connections.
In collaboration with area high schools, CCP delivers YSU courses to qualified high school students. Administered by the Metro Credit Education Outreach Office, the program offers college credit courses on campus, online and at partner high schools.
College Credit Plus….
- Gives students firsthand experience with the high academic standards and increased workload typical of college education, and helps develops the personal responsibility required to be successful in college;
- Provides teachers with university based professional development directly related to content, pedagogy, and assessment for the YSU courses they are teaching;
- Strengthens curricular, instructional, and professional ties between high schools and YSU.
