E-tutoring is an online service which allows tutors to work with you synchronously and asynchronously, answering questions in real time, or replying to questions and essay submissions that you have left for review and commentary.

Students taking high school based courses will follow the IEP they have on file with their school district.

You are permitted to come to YSU anytime and use the library facilities. You also have access to all online materials including research journals. You can have books sent to your local library through Ohio Link.
The Mathematics Assistance Center [MAC] is an academic support service that is integrated with the Department of Mathematics & Statistics. Its mission is to assist YSU students in the strengthening of the fundamental mathematics skills, which are necessary for success in the study of mathematics, and to provide resource materials for independent study.
The Writing Center’s mission is to help students become more independent, confident and successful writers. Some of the services provided are:
- Assessment of writing strengths and weaknesses
- Guidance for essays, lab reports, history papers, résumés and other writing projects in all disciplines
- Help with documentation in APA, MLA, Chicago and other styles
