Grants.gov was established as a governmental resource named the E-Grants Initiative, part of President George W. Bush’s 2002 Fiscal Year Management Agenda to improve government services to the public. Today, Grants.gov is a centralized storehouse for information on over 1,000 federal grant programs and provides access to approximately billions in annual awards across the 26 Federal grant-making agencies.
GrantSelect is YSU's online database to access funding opportunities, replacing the former infoEd|Spin database. With GrantSelect, researchers can discover funding opportunities for pure research grants to funding for the arts, biomedical, healthcare, community services, children and youth, education, international programs, operating costs, scholarships, and faith-based programming. The intuitive interface makes searching for grant quick and easy. Please note: GrantSelect is a subscription-based resource which is provided to the YSU community; as such, it will only work on the YSU network or via a virtual private network (VPN).
