Guest Speakers, New Officer Training, Teambuilding, Leadership Styles sessions as well as Roundtable Discussions/Event Announcements will once again be the order of the day as we kick-off the upcoming Fall Semester.
We encourage ALL registered student organizations to be represented, hoping that one or more (and yes, advisors are always most welcome) officers will make plans to attend the leadership workshop.
Again, the YSU Student Organizations Guide (Page 5, Section B, Number 8) on Registration of Student Organizations states: "After becoming officially registered, a minimum of two organization officers must attend a leadership workshop conducted by the Student Activities Office."
The day will commence with registration beginning at 8:30 a.m. in the Kilcawley Center/Chestnut Room, the program tentatively scheduled to begin at 9:00 a.m.
An itinerary, when finalized, will be sent to you so please when filling out your registration form include your e-mail address.
The deadline to return your registration form is Wednesday, August 23 (4:00 p.m.) in order for us to have an accurate head count for food service.
Our leadership summit provides a unique opportunity for you to network and get to know other organization members, all the while learning of the many features that are available to all of our registered organizations.
