WELCOME WEEK 2017 SCHEDULE COMING SOON!
This year's theme celebrates what Youngstown State University is known for, and introduces incoming students to what Youngstown has to offer!
Welcome Week will begin on Saturday, August 19 with Residence Hall Move-In. On Monday, August 21 and Tuesday, August 22 all first year students will participate in IGNITE, a campus-wide collaboration connecting new Penguins to our campus and community.
The fun continues for two weeks! Take the stage to show us why you'll be Youngstown Famous at the talent show, bust a move at the silent disco, explore downtown Youngstown, and celebrate YSU Day on September 1. Look for the Penguin 101 symbol on the Welcome Week schedule to identify events that are particularly helpful for first time Penguins.
