Youngstown State University Penguin Productions is proud to announce the fourth annual FEDERAL FRENZY in downtown Youngstown on Saturday, April 21, 2018. Federal Frenzy is a music and arts festival presented in collaboration with the City of Youngstown and The Summit FM in celebration of the many talents of Youngstown State and the greater Youngstown community. Between 2:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. downtown venues feature live musical performances from Youngstown State students, faculty, and staff in addition to various forms of art, while West Federal Street hosts outdoor performances by regional and national acts, live art, vendors, and activities.
This is where your student organization can get involved! If your organization would like to host an activity at this year’s Federal Frenzy, fill out the application below!
Application Deadline for Activities: SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 4, 2018 at 11:59 p.m.
As we have a limited event space, not all applications can be accepted. Following the February 4th deadline, the Penguin Productions Activities Team will review the applications received and notify those student organizations selected to participate.
Your organization might consider the following tips in submitting an activity.
- Federal Frenzy is a free event open to the public, therefore free activities by student organizations will be favored over those that require a payment.
- This is a call for activities. Please make sure that your submission is an activity and not simply an information table.
- While it is not essential, activities that coincide with the theme of a music and arts festival are encouraged.
If your organization would like to be a part of Federal Frenzy, but are struggling to come up with an activity, or simply have a question, feel free to reach out to Megan Crees, Activities Lead via email at firstname.lastname@example.org for inspiration or assistance.
